Pair in court over abduction case

Two men have appeared on petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged with extortion and abduction of a 16-year-old boy from the capital.

Joseph Lindsay, 23, and Brian Sloan, 22, both from Glasgow, made a brief appearance in private on Monday before Sheriff Douglas Allan.

No plea or declaration was made and the case has been continued. Both men were remanded in custody.

Aaron Hunter was allegedly abducted in Clermiston Street on 24 October.

He was found in Warrington, Cheshire, the following day.
